FIRST-PARTY DATA / GOOGLE SEARCH CONSOLE + WHITEBOXX AI
Use search data to
prioritise content research.
Analyse Search Console queries, clicks and impressions to find relevant questions and pages your team should examine.
THE ANALYTICAL TASK
Which search questions fit your expertise?
Search Console shows queries where a site appeared and how that visibility changed. The content decision is whether the question fits your expertise and whether an existing page answers it.
Choose the verified site and reporting dates. Existing code retrieves clicks, impressions, click-through rate and position. Page-level analysis also needs the page dimension and the appropriate extraction.
THE OUTPUT
A content research list based on observed queries.
The report names the queries and pages to investigate, explains the inferred intent and identifies any research needed before writing.
INPUTS AND DEFINITIONS
Choose the queries, pages and reporting dates.
| Input or measure | What to establish |
|---|---|
| Visibility | Retain the site, period and dimensions behind clicks and impressions. |
| Click-through rate | Interpret the rate alongside query mix and average position. |
| Content fit | Explain why the organisation has a useful, supported answer. |
CONNECTOR BUILDING BLOCKS
Validate the Search Console extraction.
We confirm permissions, dimensions, limits and extraction coverage, then reconcile the analysis with the Search Console report.
Average position varies across observations, and the report is not a complete query log. AI-answer visibility requires a separate measurement. Publishing content and metadata changes are separate tasks.
PILOT ACCEPTANCE
How should you evaluate a Google Search Console integration?
| Check | Evidence to review |
|---|---|
| Choose the report scope | Fix the property, dates, search type, country and device filters. Keep query and page dimensions with clicks and impressions. |
| Retain extraction limits | Check returned rows and pagination against the report’s scope. A missing query row is not evidence that the query had no demand. |
| Separate indexing from performance | Use URL Inspection to check an individual URL’s index status. Query clicks and impressions answer a different question from current index eligibility. |
PLANNING THE IMPLEMENTATION
Is this a ready-to-use Google Search Console connection?
Whiteboxx has connector building blocks for Google Search Console, which must be configured and validated for the selected tenant, source objects and analytical task. The project still needs result reconciliation and any additional application, historical-data or delivery work described above.
