Choose the AI investments
that address your business needs.
Review the tools and experiments already underway, find the gaps in the processes they serve and define what to keep, improve, replace or build.

THE PORTFOLIO REVIEW
Find out what is working beyond the demo.
Review each tool or prototype with its owner: who uses it, what it costs, which data it reaches and what still has to be done manually.
The answer may be to keep a tool, improve a promising prototype, consolidate overlapping systems or build an application or integration. The review should make that decision easier.
THE DECISION RECORD
The evidence behind each investment decision.
| Decision | Evidence needed to make it | Consequence |
|---|---|---|
| Continue | A supported workflow, defined users and evidence of use. | Keep the capability and agree its operating owner. |
| Redesign | A useful analytical result but an unresolved data, interface or handoff problem. | Scope the missing components and release acceptance. |
| Replace or retire | Duplicated effort or a mismatch with the intended job. | Agree the replacement path and dependencies. |
| Build | A specific requirement that existing capability does not meet. | Produce the architecture, cost assumptions and first-release scope. |
BUSINESS AND TECHNOLOGY TOGETHER
Bring the business case and the architecture together.
The business case names the users, the process to improve and how the result will be measured. The architecture covers data, software, integrations and the responsibilities for running it.
The delivery plan should explain which manual steps will change. If the same team still has to copy data and reconstruct the report, that work needs to be addressed in the design.
APPLICATION DESIGN
Plan the shared foundation as well as the first release.
Identify which data services, agents and workflows can be reused across the selected applications. The architecture should show the Evidence OS contribution, the custom components to build and the systems that continue to own business records.
