THE GLOBAL EVIDENCE FOUNDATION
External data for
enterprise applications.
Whiteboxx combines stored public evidence, live data retrieval and approved enterprise records for enterprise applications. Use the source explorer to find named data products, the coverage page to check geography, and the official-statistics guide to compare measures and periods.

What data can an enterprise application use?
An application can combine external context with its own operating records: economic indicators for a market comparison, company filings for account research, geographic records for a location review, and approved warehouse or business-system inputs for internal analysis. The business question determines the sources and calculations to use.
The published inventory contains 562 data sources across the enterprise data lake, digital APIs and connected data products. The source explorer describes 428 indexed entries. These are different inventories, not competing totals. Neither establishes that every source is connected to your organisation or that every measure is available in every country.

The foundation covers countries and territories around the world. The detail depends on the source: national economic figures, regional measures and individual business locations each support different questions.

WHICH EVIDENCE DOES THE QUESTION NEED?
Choose the evidence for the question.
| Question | Evidence to inspect | What it contributes |
|---|---|---|
| Compare economies | World Bank, OECD, Eurostat and national statistical sources. | Defined measures across places and periods. |
| Investigate a company | GLEIF identity records and relevant company filings. | The legal entity and its reported activities or financial facts. |
| Investigate a location | Overture geography, business locations and applicable local measures. | The physical and economic setting of a place. |
| Interpret business performance | Approved warehouse aggregates, billing, CRM or support inputs. | The organisation’s own operating context. |
DATA SOURCES AND COVERAGE

| Measure | Scale / access | What it means |
|---|---|---|
| Total data sources | 562 | Across the enterprise data lake, digital APIs and connected data products. |
| Data lake | Stored evidence | Structured observations, geographic data and other retained evidence for analytical work. |
| Digital APIs & live sources | Connected retrieval | Search, market and other digital data products accessed through APIs and live retrieval. |
| Countries & territories | 248 | 248 countries and territories with stored coverage in the global Overture geographic foundation. Source breadth varies by country; the official-statistics subset covers 84 countries and territories. |
| Distinct metric IDs | 72,772 | Distinct metric IDs in the warehouse metric catalog. The same metric may occur in several datasets. |
The enterprise inventory spans the data lake, digital APIs and connected data products. Geographic reach includes Overture; metric totals refer to the official-statistics warehouse.

DATA INSIDE THE PRODUCT
Make the source useful to the application.
A source count establishes breadth. The application still needs the correct entity, geography, period and measure. We select the relevant data, preserve its meaning and connect it to the business task.
Execution agents and workflows can use that prepared data. Custom engineering adds source connections, transformations and interfaces where the application needs more than the existing platform services provide.
