CUSTOM TECHNOLOGY / ARCHITECTURE SPRINT

Decide what to build
with AI next.

A 30-day engagement to review your AI tools and experiments, choose a business workflow and define the architecture, costs and delivery plan for the next investment.

WHAT WE EXAMINE

Start with the tools and experiments already in use.

We review paid tools, internal prototypes and vendor proposals with the people responsible for them. For a selected workflow, we examine the inputs, users, data access and steps that still need manual effort.

The review identifies what is helping, what can be reused and which application or integration requirements need attention before a build.

What happens during the sprint.

In this video

The sprint brings an organisation’s AI activity into one view: what is being used, what it costs and where work is duplicated. The team selects a workflow, assesses which ideas to advance, redesign or stop, and prepares a blueprint covering users, data, integrations, approvals, expected value, cost and ownership. Leadership can then choose to build, buy, partner or pause.

THE 30-DAY ENGAGEMENT

The four stages of the engagement.

StageWhat we examineWhat you receive
Map the current activityTools, spend, overlaps, business owners and intended uses.An activity map and candidate workflows.
Investigate the selected workflowObserve the steps and inspect prototypes, data access and system boundaries. The workflow problem and the reusable or missing capabilities.
Design the next releaseDefine the users, data path, interfaces and acceptance examples. An implementation blueprint with dependencies and ownership.
Prepare the investment decisionEstimate delivery and operating effort; agree the business measure.Build, buy, partner, pause or retire recommendation with milestones.

WHAT YOU RECEIVE

Leave with a plan a delivery team can use.

The blueprint covers the selected workflow, application design, data sources, integrations, first release, responsibilities and measures of success. It sets out the assumptions behind costs and expected value.

You can use it with Whiteboxx, an internal team or another delivery partner. There is no commitment to a later build.

WHEN TO START ELSEWHERE

Already know what you need?

If the users, workflow and first release are already agreed, we can move straight into architecture and delivery scoping. The sprint is for decisions that still need investigation.
