EVIDENCE OS / EXECUTION AGENTS
Analytical agents inside
enterprise applications.
Execution agents work with real-world and enterprise data to carry out defined analytical tasks. Use their findings in a report, a workflow step or a custom application, with the sources and calculations needed to check the result.

What does an execution agent do?
An execution agent carries out a defined analytical task using the data and tools it has been given. It can retrieve observations, compare records, calculate a result and return findings in a report or structured format. A workflow or application uses that output in the wider business process.
THE AGENT SETUP
Set up the agent for the question you need answered.
For a regional comparison, choose the measure, countries and reporting period. Give the agent access to the relevant sources and specify whether you need a report, a comparison table or a structured result for another application.
The agent’s configuration sets its tool access and budget. Reading data and making changes to a business system require different permissions.
ANALYTICAL TOOLS
The analytical tools an agent can use.
| Tool operation | Example question | Returned evidence |
|---|---|---|
| Discover measures | Which employment indicators cover these regions? | Available measures and their geographic and time coverage. |
| Compare geographies | How do the selected countries compare on one indicator? | Values for a stated measure and period. |
| Read a time series | How has this measure changed in one place? | Observations across the selected interval. |
| Inspect a distribution | How is the total split across a supported dimension? | The dimension categories and returned values. |
| Compose returned results | What is the change, ratio or ordering across comparable rows? | A calculated result retaining its source references. |
RESULTS
Get the findings and the calculations behind them.
A result can include the source rows, measure definitions, calculations and any missing inputs. Your team can read the report; another application can use the structured JSON.
An execution agent is a component of the application. Custom engineering supplies any additional data connections, domain calculations, interface or downstream operation the complete business process requires.
SPECIALIST ANALYSIS
Examples of analytical assignments.
Market comparison
Compare economic conditions, trade flows and relevant category data.
See market analysis 02Company research
Investigate a legal entity and compare its reported results with peers.
See company analysis 03Location research
Study business locations and the local measures available for an area.
See location analysisPART OF THE APPLICATION
Connect the analytical result to the next business step.
An agent can return a comparison or structured finding while the workflow records progress and the application decides how that result is presented. The interface may show an account review, a reporting exception or a draft for an analyst.
Those application behaviours are designed for the project. Tool-based analysis is a platform capability; changes to business systems require their own integration and implementation.
